Passionately Pink for the Cure
CEOs. Soccer moms. Teachers. Your next door
neighbor. The local manager at your favorite coffee
shop. What do all of these people have in common?
They can all move us closer to a world without breast
cancer. Many of them have already joined Susan G. Komen
for the Cure® to go Passionately Pink!
We are asking your organization to join these
individuals and be part of the world’s largest
grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and
activists fighting to end breast cancer forever.

Running through October, this fun, creative and
easy-to-execute fundraising program inspires breast
cancer advocacy and honors those affected by breast
cancer.
Last year, more than 8,000 businesses, schools, places
of worship and social organizations went Passionately
Pink for the Cure and generated nearly $4 million to
fight breast cancer. To help us top 2007, we need your
support to reach our goal of raising $4.5 million in
2008. You can play a critical role in creating a world
without breast cancer.
In the next 25 years, more than 25 million women will be
diagnosed with breast cancer, and 10 million will die
unless a cure is found. Your participation will help
save lives by supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure,
the leader in the global breast cancer movement. All of
the net proceeds from Passionately Pink for the Cure go
directly to fighting breast cancer with 75 percent
funding breast cancer research programs and 25 percent
supporting community-based education, screening and
treatment programs funded by local Komen Affiliates.

The premise of Passionately Pink for the Cure is simple:
show your true colors! Your group or organization
selects a day (or several days) to wear pink, and
participants donate $5 or more to join the fun.
